Aishwarya Rai Bachchan may be staying away from the silver screen but her recent photoshoot with Pharrell Williams proves that she's born to rule your hearts.
As if soaring temperatures in the city weren't enough that Vogue India did a sizzling photoshoot with these global icons. The stills show the gorgeous Bollywood diva posing with American singer/rapper, Pharrell Williams. The two are looking absolutely stunning and it is needless to say that their union is pleasing to our eyes.
In an exclusive interview with the magazine, Aishwarya revealed how difficult it is for her to spare time for interviews and photoshoots. “I spend all my time with Aaradhya, and I have one nanny, by choice. I read comments saying, “Ah, she must have an army of help” and I understand the perception, but I choose this way, which means life is always busy. I respect homemakers for the endless work they do,” she said.
The Happy singer - Pharrell Williams was in India to celebrate the festival of colours - Holi and also launch a line of shoes and clothes inspired by the festival. And we all know how his Holi pictures with Bollywood celebs went viral.
In one of the stills, both the icons are dressed in all-red and Aishwarya has her arm around Pharrell's shoulder. In solo, photo features Aishwarya is given a more groovy, eclectic look. she can be seen in skinny jeans, colourful ganjis and denim jackets, whereas Pharrell is seen in a burgundy shirt and achkan-style jacket.
According to reports, before Aishwarya and Pharrell collaborated for this new photoshoot, Kendall Jenner and Sushant Singh Rajput were coming together.
On the work front Aishwarya will be soon seen with Anil Kapoor in Fanne Khan and is currently shooting for the same. During the interview, she also revealed that there is another movie in her kitty, shooting for the same. Aishwarya also revealed in the interview that there is more in her kitty, “In Fanney Khan, I’m playing a chapter in the narrative that I believe is intrinsic to the story. I’ve been approached for the remake of Raat Aur Din, which is a great opportunity, and what’s funny is while filming Shabd, Sanju Sir (Sanjay Dutt) said he’d have loved for me to play the part, and I was very touched. We’re still working out the details. I’ve also been approached for a remake of Woh Kaun Thi?”
